John Brommel
John Brommel has had the distinct opportunity of creating the first piece of public art for the City of Altoona. Brommel was chosen by the Polk County Agricultural Extension District/Polk County Master Gardeners to create a 10' 7" tall x 15' 6" long x 6' 4" wide Preying Mantis for the Enabling Gardens. He has named the massive sculpture "Pray for Prey." The piece will be installed on September 2 at 10:00 a.m.
