- John Brommel
- John Brommel has had the distinct opportunity of creating the first piece of public art for the City of Altoona. Brommel was chosen by the Polk County Agricultural Extension District/Polk County Master Gardeners to create a 10' 7" tall x 15' 6" long x 6' 4" wide Preying Mantis for the Enabling Gardens. He has named the massive sculpture "Pray for Prey." The piece will be installed on September 2 at 10:00 a.m.
